It seems that this is a known bug that should be fixed in ESXi 6.5 Update 1 according to this KB.įortunately there are other ways to collect support bundles, the most common ones are described below: ESXi Host Client and vCSA VAMIįor an ESXi host you can simply login to the new Host Client interface and go to Monitor -> Logs and click “Generate support bundle”.
